Eoin Colfer’s master piece series rocks my world. Fantasy doesn’t get any better than this for middle graders. Especially when combined with a bad-boy MC who has the worst intentions.

Inevitably, the two cross paths and become entwined in a relationship that they each need, yet neither wants. With each book, comes increasing danger, until Holly and Artemis must rely on each other to save the world.
My oldest is not a reader. He prefers any activity to reading. However, he devoured these books almost as quickly as I did.
